Robocorp Closes $21M Series A Investment Round and Launches Robocorp Control Room, a Self-Managed Bot Automation Platform
– Robocorp, the open-source process automation platform, has closed a $21m Series A investment round led by Canvas Ventures with participation from Benchmark, Uncorrelated Ventures, Slow Ventures, Firstminute Capital, Harpoon Ventures, Artisanal Ventures, Haystack Ventures and a host of angels in the intelligent automation and open source space.
– Additionally, Robocorp is releasing Robocorp Control Room, a self-managed automation orchestration platform for solutions integrators, robots-as-service providers, and enterprises that want to power automations at scale with governance and control.
– Businesses are looking to automate manual tasks and tedious processes for business functions that include HR, IT, finance, data management, customer communications, and IT operations. In fact, 50% of CIOs will be accelerating robotization and automation by 2024 according to IDC.

Finley Grabs $3M Seed Round
– Finley, a debt capital raise and management solution, has announced a $3m seed round led by Matt Harris and Kevin Zhang of Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from Haystack, Nine Four Ventures, TwentyTwo VC, and Y Combinator.
– The company’s software helps growing companies automate due diligence, ensure compliance, and streamline ongoing reporting with their capital providers.

– Rewatch, a video archiving startup, raised $20m in Series A funding.
– The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and joined by Haystack and Upside Partners, as well as a number of individuals.
– It comes on the heels of Rewatch announcing a $2m seed round only in January of this year.

Affirm spinout Resolve raises $60M for its B2B ‘buy now, pay later’ platform
– Resolve, a San Francisco-based startup in the space specializing in “buy now, pay later” capabilities for B2B transactions, announced that it has raised $60m funding.
– Initialized Capital led the round — the company’s first funding since its 2019 inception.
– KSD Capital, Haystack VC, Commerce Ventures, Clocktower Ventures and others also participated.
– The funding is a combination of equity and asset funding according to co-founder and CEO Chris Tsai, although he declined to reveal the breakdown.
– Since launching as a spinout from Affirm in 2019, Resolve says it has seen “overwhelming” demand for its B2B buy now, pay later (BNPL) billing offering for business purchases.

– Seattle startup Esper landed a $30m investment to fuel its fast-growing technology that helps companies manage their cloud-based IoT devices.
– Scale Venture Partners led the Series B round, with participation from Madrona Venture Group, Root Ventures, Ubiquity Ventures, and Haystack.
– Total funding to date is $40.6 million.
