– investor outreach system that includes email automation service to reach decision makers in chosen funds.
The final result of the Service a user receives is an Excel document with a list of found funds and their key persons we suppose you should contact with a view of successful fundraising.
The authorized user uses our website on a free basis or under subscription mode (Discovery and Connect modes include monthly or annual subscription) – the choice affects the information such user has access to. After receiving the payment, a user gets the opportunity to use the appropriate subscription mode. Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the http://www.unicorn-nest.com website operated by Unicorn Nest (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy located at https://unicorn-nest.com/privacy-policy/, which is a part hereof. If you disagree with any part of the abovementioned documents, you may not access the Service.
The Service
Our Service allows you to:
– access the data about venture capital funds, decision makers, deals and startups;
– receive recommendations of funds we suppose are matching your startup for the purposes of equity fundraising;
– connect with funds’ decision makers with the help of our email automation system(each separately and independently – “Search Result”). We use our algorithm to filter and range funds based on your criteria. Upon payment completion, you within the Discovery subscription plan will get access to the database of venture capital funds, decision makers, deals and startups, as well as
unlimited queries in the recommendation algorithm selecting optimal funds for startups. Connect subscription plan also includes access to email automation service and all its features and functionality. The Service is considered to be fully provided within an appropriate subscription plan from the moment of payment. Each Search Result constitutes a separate service laying within an appropriate subscription plan and may be received as many times as the conditions of the appropriate subscription plan prescribe. User Accounts
In order to use the Service, you need to sign in/authorize yourself on the website using your LinkedIn account. When you sign in with a LinkedIn account, you give the Services permission to access your First and Last Name, and Email. You may establish only one account per person to participate in the Service offered. You may surf our website without authorization but only authorized users can use the Service.
Rules of using the Service
As part of using the Service, you may be required to sign up for an account with your LinkedIn profile. Your right to access the Service is personal to you and you may not transfer your account to anyone else without our prior written permission.
Providing and maintaining the Service we strictly follow the Can-Spam Act 2003 and hence strongly demand our users to follow the same legislation as well.
You’re the only one responsible for any activity associated with your account as well as for maintaining its security. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. We will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions as well as for any loss or corruption of your information, and for any related costs, fees, or expenses associated with backing-up or restoring your information.
Any account on our website will be spam scored and verified before it’s admitted to authorisation. We retain the right to deny authorisation in case we suspend or have technical evidences of the high spam probability.
You will only use the Service and Content in a manner that complies with all laws that apply to you. You will not violate any applicable law, contract, intellectual property right, or other third-party right or commit a tort, and you are solely responsible for your conduct while using the Service.
You represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract in the country of your residence and/or according to the law, applicable to you. If you’re agreeing to these Terms on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to agree to these Terms on that organization or entity’s behalf and bind them to these Terms (in which case, the references to “you” and “your” in these Terms, except for in this sentence, refer to that organization or entity).
Your use of the Service is subject to the following additional restrictions
You warrant and agree that you will not interact with the Service in a manner that “Crawls,” “scrapes,” or “spiders” any page, data, or portion of or relating to the Service or Content (through use of manual or automated means). You must not upload spyware or any other malicious software – even in case we ask you or the technical features of the website provides so.
Your access to and use of the Service may be interrupted from time to time as a result of equipment malfunction, updating, maintenance or repair of the Service or any other reason within or outside the control of Unicorn Nest. We reserve the right to amend, suspend or discontinue the availability of the Service and/or remove any content at any time at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
Services are granted “as is” and on “as available” basis. That means you are given no guarantee of Service use, functionality, correctness, and meeting of your plans and goals of their use unless it is strictly written otherwise in these Terms of Use. And in this relation, we do not represent or warrant that Service or information, software, contained therein comply with all applicable laws or that results of Service are free from the breaching of any third persons’ rights, including intellectual property rights. Note that quality assurance (QA) is not included in the general Service description.
You are using the Service, including in the status of the Service user, at your own discretion and your own risk assuming all responsibility with respect to your use of the Service.
In connection with your access and use of the Service you shall not and agree not to:
(i) violate or assist any party in violating any law, statute, ordinance, regulation or any rule of any self-regulatory or similar organization;
(ii) provide false, inaccurate or misleading information to Unicorn Nest;
(iii) take or attempt to take any action or claim ownership of any property that infringes or would infringe on (a) the intellectual property interest of Unicorn Nest in and to the Service, or (b) any third party’s copyright, patent, trademark, or intellectual property rights;
(iv) distribute unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional or marketing material or any junk mail, spam, or chain letters;
(v) reverse engineer or disassemble any aspect of the Service for any purpose, including but not limited to, in an effort to access any source code, underlying ideas, concepts, and algorithms;
(vi) take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large burden or load on the Unicorn Nest’s infrastructure (including, but not limited to, servers, networks, data centers and related or like equipment), or detrimentally interferes with, intercepts, or expropriates any system, data, or information of Unicorn Nest;
(vii) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, systems of Unicorn Nest, computer systems or networks connected to the Service, including through password mining or any other means; or
(viii) use any prohibited or deleterious software, including viruses or fishing programs, using the Service or even browsing the Unicorn Nest website.
We are passing all liability for any spam, data security breach or other lawsuits that could occur as a result of your activity within the Service.
We remain in our right to deny or temporarily suspend at our sole discretion (with prior notification of you or without such notification) your use of the Service at any time in case you breach or we have a suspicion that you breach any of your obligations under these Terms of Use or restrictions, prescribed herein.
Please note that while requesting the Services you have to complete some fields of the request form. Some of them are mandatory for filling by you while others are there to provide clarification of your search results. Please note that proper filling-in of all the fields makes the Search Result more useful and precise. Appropriate fields will be indicated accordingly.
Pricing policy
We reserve the right to charge for certain or all Service. Certain aspects or uses of the Service require you to pay fees, for example, in order to access certain content or be able to download or export data. You pay fo the Service according to the subscription plan you choose. Visit our products page for current descriptions of these subscription plans and the applicable fees. You agree to pay all fees which apply to your use of the Service. Unicorn Nest reserves the right to change any fees and pricing applicable to the Service at any time.
All subscriptions are recurring and will automatically renew after the end of each paid subscription period.
Your total price will include the price of the Service rendering, Search Results acquiring but expressly excludes any applicable taxes; such service tax is based on the bill-to address and the applicable tax rate in effect at the time you use the Service. We will charge tax only in such jurisdictions where the Service is taxable.
Prices for the Service may change at any time at our sole and exclusive discretion.
Every UN user is obliged to personally keep the taxes law due to the user’s venue and local assessed taxation.
Refund and cancellation policy
In general UN offers no refunds and you have no right to claim any Services results if there were no complaints from your side regarding the results of the Services rendered within 5 (five) calendar days since the moment you received the relevant Services results.
However according to the applicable legislation citizens of the European Union are entitled to a full refund during the 14 days after the subscription begins. This is not and can not be constituted as the disempowerment or discrimination from our side – it is only the legislative terms out of our control.
Please note that the trial period begins when the subscription service starts. For example, if you signed up for a free trial, the subscription plan’s duration begins on the first day of your free trial irrespective to the actual duration of such trial.
While providing the Services we do not provide price protection or refunds in circumstances when:
- a price reduction or promotional offering occurs;
- we cancel, deny or suspend your account or Service use as it is described herein.
When you cancel your subscription plan, delete your account from the Service, you cancel future charges associated with your subscription, but in no case those charges you have already paid. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing period of your subscription plan, and so we do not offer prorated refunds for cancelled subscriptions. You will not receive a refund for the current billing period of your subscription plan and hence you will have the same access and Service as provided by your subscription conditions for the remainder of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to issue refunds or accept cancellation at our sole discretion. Once issuing a refund or accepting cancellation, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund or cancellation in the future.

Notification to guardians
Note, that the Service is not intended for use by minors. So if you are 18 years old or younger OR you are in the age of minor according to the current legislation of the state of your residence OR you are limited in your ability to act – you are prohibited to use the Service without the direct and explicit consent of your parents or legal guardians, which has to be sent to [email protected] .
If you are a parent or guardian, by granting your child or ward a permission to use the Service, you agree to these terms of these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (located at https://unicorn-nest.com/privacy-policy/) on behalf of your child or ward. You are responsible for monitoring and supervising your child’s /ward’s use of the Service. Moreover, you are responsible and liable for your child’s /ward’s online activities thereon.
If your child is using the Service and is under 18 years old or is of a minor age according to the legislation of the state of your residence, please provide us with an informal e-mail to the following e-mail address: [email protected], stating that you as the legal guardian of the minor user provide explicit consent for the use of our Service.
In case you do not approve the use of our Service by the minor or incapable user, please contact and inform us immediately so that we can disable his or her access.
In all other cases, we will have the right to block your access to the Service use once we are aware or suspicious you are of a minor age (usually 18 or below) or your child or ward uses our Service without your explicit consent, at our sole discretion and without any obligation to explain the reason additionally.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Unicorn Nest. It applies even in case we request – or it is necessary for the proper Service use – the third website or services use.
For example, we may ask you to create or connect additional GSuite accounts for further Service use or we will ask you to upload your documents to the Service sharing their location in Google Drive or Dropbox.
Unicorn Nest has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Unicorn Nest shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
Our liability
We will operate the Service with the reasonable skill and care of an online service provider. From time to time it may be necessary to suspend access to the Service for a period of time and any such interruptions shall not constitute a breach by us of these Terms. Our liability to you for breach of contract will be strictly limited and no compensation shall be liable on us.
We will not be liable for any business, financial, or economic loss of any type nor for any consequential or indirect loss (such as lost reputation, lost profit or lost opportunity) arising as a result of your use of the Service or Search Result whether such loss is incurred or suffered as a result of our negligence or otherwise.
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF UNICORN NEST HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (A) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, ITS COMPONENTS; (B) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH, FROM, OR AS A RESULT OF THE SERVICE; (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS, CONTENT OR PERSONAL DATA; (D) YOUR RELIANCE ON SERVICE, CONTENT OR DATA MADE AVAILABLE BY US; OR (E) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE OR YOUR USE OF IT, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR OTHERWISE), WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE FEES YOU HAVE PAID TO UNICORN NEST AND USD $100.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 05 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
Applicable law
Unicorn Nest acts and performs business activity under the law of Luxembourg.
Please, note that some additional restrictions under the law of your state of residence, state of citizenship or under the rules of the organization you access from, may apply to you in regard to your use of Service or access to the Unicorn Nest website.
