– Mexico City-based last-mile logistics platform Cargamos wants to own same-day delivery in Latin America.
– The company has announced a $7m raise in follow-on funding, bringing its total seed round to $11m.
– It will use the funding to build a large fulfilment facility in Mexico City.
– It also wants to expand its network of mini distribution centers which it calls points of delivery, AKA “pods”, where packages are sorted and sent out for final delivery.
– The company currently has about 50 pods, but wants to more than double that number in the next six months so that it can cover a service area around Mexico City of up to 75 additional cities.

– Volta Trucks, an EV startup, raised $44m funding.
– The round was led by Luxor Capital Group and returning investor Byggmästare Anders J Ahlström Holding of Stockholm.
– New investors included U.S. electric truck and battery manufacturer Proterra and supply chain management company Agility.
– The company plans to pilot the trucks in London and Paris.

– OneRail has closed a $9m Series A investment led by Ironspring Ventures.
– The round was joined by new investors Gaingels and the company’s current investors, including Chicago Ventures, Bullpen Capital, Las Olas Venture Capital, CreativeCo Capital and Alpine Meridian Ventures.
– OneRail solves final mile delivery logistics more comprehensively than any other offering in the space, with a 3-in-1 approach firmly establishing them as the top-tier solution for Retailers, Healthcare Networks and Product Distributors, as well as the Construction and Materials ecosystem.
– The new capital investment in OneRail will accelerate the company’s rapid growth in the final mile logistics market that contributes $417 billion annually to GDP in the United States alone.

– Metrobi, a Boston, MA-based tech-powered fulfillment solution for local food and beverage wholesale, raised a seed funding round of undisclosed amount.
– The round was led by 212.vc with additional institutional funding from Techstars. Previous investors include Walnut Ventures, TBD Angels as well as notable angel investors.
– The company intends to use the funds to expand its solution into new markets and build additional technology for its customers.

– ShippyPro from Florence, Italy raised $5m in Series A funding.
– The round was led by Five Elms Capital.
– The company plans to use the funds to continue hiring and reach 150 employees in the next 12 months, to execute on its product roadmap, which includes releasing new features to help customers optimize their fulfillment processes and save budget on logistics spend, including functionality that will focus on the CO2 impact of deliveries.

– Joyride is a global micromobility software platform provider.
– The company raised $3.7M in funding.
– The round was led by Proeza Ventures and Urban Innovation Fund, with participation from Liil Ventures, Two Small Fish Ventures, co-founded by Eva Lau and Wattpad Co-founder Allen Lau, and former Shopify Chief Product Officer Craig Miller of Something Good Ventures.
– The new investment will be used to make strategic hires for software, marketing, sales and customer success roles across its offices in Toronto and Europe, attract new customers in thousands of markets and provide existing operators with more solutions customized to their city-focused and private fleet needs.

– Uello, a logtech startup from Sao Paulo, closed its $4m Series A funding.
– The round was led by Btomorrow Ventures (BTV), followed by Capital Lab and Invest Tech.
– The company intends to use the funds to develop of new products and an innovative technological solution to manage the logistics of companies that have their own operation, expand its geographical operations and hire a qualified team.

– FarEye, a leading end-to-end, global delivery management platform, has announced a USD 100m Series E round led by TCV and Dragoneer Investment Group.
– Existing investors Eight Roads Ventures, Fundamentum and Honeywell also participated in the round.
– The funds will be used to accelerate the company’s mission of empowering brands to provide Amazon Prime-like delivery experiences and redefining how products are delivered across diverse logistics networks.

– Cartwheel, a Los Angeles, CA-based on-demand delivery management platform for restaurants and retailers, raised $1m in seed funding.
– The round was led by TenOneTen Ventures with participation from Act One Ventures and Portillo’s Hot Dogs.
– The company intends to use the funds for product development, partnership integrations, and team expansion.

– Dott is a Paris, France-based e-scooter startup that has raised $85m in funding.
– The round was co-led by Sofina and Estari, with participation from EQT Ventures, Prosus Ventures, Aberdeen Standard Investments, Expon Capital, Felix Capital, FJ Labs, Invest-NL, McRock Capital, Quadia in partnership with Degroof Petercam and various angel investors.
– The company has a staff of 280, with its main teams located in Amsterdam, London and Paris.

– GO Sharing, a Dutch startup, raised €50m funding.
– The funding was led by Opportunity Partners and joined by the startup’s founders.
– The startup plans to use the funding to expand its footprint for e-mopeds; add electric cars and e-bikes to its app; and continue building out the technology underpinning it all.
