– The company raised $3.5m in seed funding.
– The round was led by KB Partners, with participation from Company Ventures and Gaingels.
– All of Kenshō’s Pre-Seed investors – Crosscut, Female Founders Fund, Alumni Ventures Group, and Evolve Foundation also take a participation in the round.
– The company intends to use the funds to continue to build out its team, drive patient demand, and capture provider supply, serviced by its latest product, Care Matching.

Wagmo raises $12.5M to offer pet insurance (and a lot more)
– Wagmo, a pet insurance and perks startup, raised $12.5m in Series A funding.
– The round was led by Revolution Ventures with participation from Female Founders Fund, Clocktower Technology Ventures, and Vestigo Ventures.
– Angels, including Jeffrey Katzenberg, Jim Grube, Marilyn Hirsch, David Ronick, and Michael Akkerman, also participated in the round.
– The company was founded by Christie Horvath and Ali Foxworth, who both came from the world of finance and insurance and realized the gap in the market when it comes to pet insurance.
– Most pet insurance providers cover the big emergencies, such as surgeries, broken bones, etc. But anyone with a pet, and especially a new puppy (like myself), knows that the costs of basic care can add up very quickly.

– The round was led by the Female Founders Fund with participation from Primetime Partners, Anne and Susan Wojcicki, Katie Couric Media, The Community Fund, and H Ventures.
– The company intends to use the new capital to drive continued growth and expansion of the business.

Fave, with $2.2 million seed, looks to connect creators with their fandoms
– Fave, a social platform for fans and creators, raised $2.2m in seed funding.
– Female Founders Fund, HYBE, Sony Music, Warner Music, Concord Music, Quality Control, Right Hand Management, Techstars Music and Betaworks participated in the round.
– The company is all about the relationship between fans and creators.
– Fave is broken down by fandoms (starting with Swifties/Taylor Swift), allowing fans to connect with one another, create content and buy and sell fan-themed merchandise and artwork to one another.
– Fave’s go-to-market is focused on the fans themselves, though the hope is to also bring creators on to the platform, which ultimately gives them another revenue stream.

– Rising Team, a platform that combines tools and training to help managers motivate, organize and ultimately effectively lead their team, raised $3m in seed funding.
– The round was led by Female Founders Fund and joined by Peterson Ventures, Burst Capital, Xoogler Ventures, 500 Startups, Roble Ventures, Supernode Ventures and several angels.
– The company plans to add AI-based custom training tips that are powered by data from the assessments.
