PassFort Secures $16.2M in Series A Funding
– PassFort is a London, UK-based SaaS RegTech platform.
– The company raised 16.2m USD in Series A funding.
– The round was led by Level Equity, with participation from existing investors OpenOcean, Episode 1 and Entrepreneur First. $4.89m worth of venture debt was also provided by Shard Credit Partners.
– The new investment will be used to expand the company’s global growth plans.

AI-driven voice assistant PolyAI raises $14M round led by Khosla Ventures
– PolyAI, a voice assistant company, raised $15m funding.
– The round was led by Silicon Valley’s Khosla Ventures, and joined by Point72 Ventures, Amadeus Capital, Sands Capital Ventures, Passion Capital and Entrepreneur First.
– It brings PolyAI to a valuation of $100m.
– PolyAI claims its voice assistant can be turned live more quickly, in more languages, and charges on a per-minute basis.

– Allozymes is a company that aims to change the way enzymes are discovered.
– The company raised $5m in seed funding.
– The round was led by Xora Innovation, with participation from HAX, Entrepreneur First and TI Platform Management.
– The company plans to incorporate in the U.S. following interest from American venture firms.

Donut Raises $2M in Funding
– Donut is a Berlin, Germany- and Los Angeles, CA-based DeFi powered mobile app to save and earn high yield.
– The company closed a $2m funding round.
– Backers included Redalpine, which reinvested in the company bringing total funding to date to $3.8m.
– Other investors include Inventures, Compound founder Robert Leshner, Entrepreneur First and a group of users, including the owners of the Washington Nationals baseball team.
– The new investment will be used for user growth and product development ahead of planned additional funding in early 2022.
