Picsart Raises $130 Million to Expand its Creator Platform, Valuing the Company at More Than $1 Billion
– Picsart announced it has raised $130m in Series C funding.
– The round was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 with participation from G Squared and Tribe Capital, as well as existing investors Sequoia, DCM, Graph Ventures, and Siguler Guf & Company.
– With over $100m in annual revenue run rate, Picsart is now valued at over $1bn.
– The company has raised a total of $195m in capital since its founding.
– With users in 180 countries, Picsart’s base of more than 150 million monthly active users produce more than 1bn edits each month, making it the largest community for Gen Z creators.

Japan’s B2B ordering and supply platform CADDi raises $73 million Series B funding
– CADDi, a B2B ordering and supply platform in the manufacturing and procurement industry, raised $73m in Series B funding.
– The round was led by Globis Capital Partners and World Innovation Lab (WiL), with participation from existing investors DCM and Global Brain.
– Six new investors also joined the round including Arena Holdings, DST Global, Minerva Growth Partners, Tybourne Capital Management, JAFCO Group and SBI Investment.
– The post-money valuation is estimated at $450m.
– The funding proceeds will be used for accelerating digital transformation of the platform, hiring and expanding to global markets.

Amber Group Raises $100M in Series B Funding at $1 Billion Valuation
– Amber Group, a Hong Kong-based crypto trading and technology company, raised $100m in Series B funding at a $1b valuation.
– The round was led by China Renaissance Group, Tiger Brokers, Tiger Global Management, Arena Holdings, Tru Arrow Partners, A&T Capital, Sky9 Capital, DCM Ventures, Gobi Partners, as well as existing investors Pantera Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Blockchain.com, Bit Digital, Digital Finance Group, Fenbushi Capital, Math Wallet, SNZ Capital, Continue Capital, and Mr. Zhao Qingsun.
– The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand global operations and develop market solutions for crypto investors and companies.

Clinical AI Technology Leader Mendel Raises $18M in New Capital
– Mendel, the company behind the clinical AI platform that understands the unstructured, natural language content within medical documents, announced it has raised $18 million in Series A funding.
– The oversubscribed round was led by DCM, a global venture capital firm, with participation from OliveTree, Zola Global Investors and Millennium Technology Value Partners.
– Return investors include Launch Capital, SOSV, Bootstrap Labs and Chairman of UCSF Health Hub Mark Goldstein.
– Olive Tree Managing Partner, Nichola Eliovits, will join the board.
– The capital will help the company rapidly grow its business and sales team to keep up with the explosive demand for clinical AI technologies by healthcare organizations over the last year.
