– 1047 Games, a game developer, raised $100m in Series C funding.
– The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and joined by Insight Partners, Anthos Capital, and earlier seed round investors Galaxy Interactive, VGames, Human Capital, Lakestar, DraperDragon, and Draper University.
– It brings the company to a valuation of $1.2 billion.
– The company plans to use the funding to expand its team and continue to build out its game portfolio.

Carbon Robotics Raises $27M In Series B Financing
– Carbon Robotics from Seattle develops agri-robotics.
– The company raised $27m in Series B financing.
– Backers included Anthos Capital, Ignition Partners, Fuse Venture Capital, Voyager Capital, Bolt and Liquid2 Ventures.
– The new investment will be aimed at scaling production of its products, growing its engineering team and establishing regional sales and support for customers across the U.S.

Railsbank Raises USD$70M in Funding
– Railsbank, a London, UK-based embedded finance platform provider, raised USD$70m in its latest funding round.
– The round was led by Anthos Capital with participation from Central Capital (VC arm of Indonesia’s largest privately held bank), Cohen and Company (the founder of Bancorp), and Chris Adelsbach’s new fund Outrun Ventures.
– The company will use the funds to further expand its various Embedded Finance products (Banking as a Service, Cards as a Service, and Credit as a Service) across Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.

Singularity 6 raises $30M to fund upcoming fantasy ‘community simulation’ MMO
– LA-based game studio Singularity 6 has banked more funding as it scales itself up and readies for the launch of its debut title.
– The startup raised $30 million in a Series B bout of funding led by FunPlus Ventures with additional participation from Andreessen Horowitz, LVP, Transcend, Anthos Capital and Mitch Lasky.
– The studio has now disclosed some $49 million in funding, a sizable sum, but one that showcases how much investors are looking to rally around gaming platform plays in the wake of Roblox’s monster IPO.

TerraTrue, which brings privacy-by-design to product teams, nabs $15M
– Los Angeles-based TerraTrue has raised $15 million in a series A round of funding led by 3L, with participation from Chris Sacca and Anthos Capital.
– In its short tenure (TerraTrue exited beta in the third quarter of 2020), the startup has amassed a reasonable roster of customers that includes freshly IPO’d ecommerce giant Wish and VC-backed photo app maker VSCO.
